About Event

Join us for Green Digital Infrastructure event , hosted by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80).

The Green Digital Infrastructure will highlight Africa’s urgent need to expand connectivity while advancing sustainability. With Nigeria hosting the event, leaders and global partners will discuss solutions for reducing reliance on diesel-powered telecom towers, scaling renewable energy, and aligning digital expansion with climate goals.

The session seeks to promote sustainable investment models and regional cooperation, positioning Africa as a leader in green digital transformation.
